Fostering saves lives.

Foster homes are a critical part of our life-saving efforts and a year-round need. When you foster, you save a life by freeing up a spot at our facility so we can pull another dog from a public animal shelter.

Foster a Dog or Puppy

Our rescue does not transfer dogs directly from the shelter into foster homes. We first take time to evaluate the dogs, get to know them, and let them decompress under our care. This eases the transition and enables us to better match you and your foster dog.

If you’re interested in fostering, complete this Foster Application, or please contact us at (530) 677-6444 or edcgsr@edcgsr.com if you have questions.
